I feel it is important to get to know people a little before I take their portrait. My portrait packages include 30 minutes of chat time. I am interested in environmental portraits. This means that you pick a place that means something to you (a park, your back deck, the ocean, your living room) and I will take your portrait there. I think it is important for children to bring whatever toys or objects they love the most. This helps keep them entertained and puts them more at ease. You should wear whatever you are comfortable in, but you should also be aware that a bunch of people wearing competing print shirts will not look good in the photograph.

I am based in Northampton, MA. I will travel up to 15 miles at no additional expense to you. After that, I charge $.50/mile to cover costs. How far you want me to travel is up to you!
